GTA 6 : Pre-Order Date and New Cover Artwork Revealed!
Last Thursday, game giant Rockstar Games has announced the pre-order date of GTA VI, alongside the reveal of the official logo and artwork of the game. Here is what we know so far...
Players will be able to pre-order GTA VI on 25th June. However, no information has yet been shared about the price point, editions, or early access opportunities.
GTA VI is now scheduled to be released to the public on 19 November, via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and selected retailers - PC gamers will have to wait a little longer as no release date has yet been announced for the port.
Official Artwork and fan scrutiny
The pre-order announcement was supported by the reveal of the new GTA VI cover art, honouring the franchise’s tradition and anchoring the game’s main characters, as we currently know them (i.e. Jason, Lucia, Boobie, Raul,...).
This beautiful cover has already been scrutinised by legions of fans, sparking new theories and criticism on Reddit and other social media platforms. A recent post titled “Mistake with the GTA 6” went viral after pointing out an inaccurate number of teeth for the alligator, wondering whether there is more to it (probably not)...
Other analysed the new cityscape of Vice City, and isolated details such as windows, lamp posts, and the fairy wheel in the distance questioning if render quality was optimal for release.
Creative licence, gator conspiracy theory, or early renders, one thing is certain: people want to talk about GTA VI, and they cannot stop finding new opportunities to engage with the topic!
Price, Editions and Early Access
We are still in the fog when it comes to the price point. Most speculation leans towards £70–£85 for the standard edition, with considerably higher prices for deluxe alternatives.
No information has yet been shared about early access or the collectables associated with the game’s release. However, Rockstar is expected to shine a light on these details over the next couple of weeks...
Whilst a lot of questions are still pending, it's fair to say GTA VI is now officially on track for delivery, and nothing will stop the hype train until we all have our hands on it. Whether you decide to pre-order on 25th July or prefer to wait until 16th November for official release, we are about to hear a lot more about GTA VI in the next coming weeks!
