Bristol's finest chart topping folk group The Longest Johns is inviting YOU (yes, YOU!) to jump aboard a new singing adventure in honour of the release of Assassin's Creed Black Flag : Resynced.

Sea Shanties Rediscovered!

One of the most vivid memories many players have of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is the heart-warming sea shanties harmonised by the crew members of the Jackdaw, as you - pirate-turned-assassin Edward Kenway - hidden-blade your way across the seven seas.

The success of the original game introduced legions of players to some of Bristol’s finest pirate traditions including our beautiful musical heritage capturing the spirit of adventure, companionship, sacrifice, lost love, and the promise of great fortunes on stranger tides...

With no fewer than 25 sea shanties featured in the original game, songs such as 'Billie Riley', 'Rio Grande', and 'Leave Her Johnny' re-emerged on the stage of international pop culture, getting over 15 million players to roll the waves in their seats and raise a mug of rum each time the wind filled the sails of their favourite ship.

Randy Dandy Oh Community Project

As AC Black Flag Resynced is about to be released to the public on 9th July, The Longest Johns, Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft, and Ubisoft Music are inviting fans from around the world to join the seafaring tradition and to step behind the mic for a new recording of the popular song 'Randy Dandy Oh!'.

Ends of the Earth Tour

As a fan of The Longest Johns, I had the great pleasure of attending the last UK date of the 'Ends of the Earth' tour at The Beacon (Bristol) a few weeks ago. It was an amazing evening of songs, stories, and guest appearances - including musicians featured in AC Black Flag.
