What You will Find on the channel:
Single Player Open-World RPGs - From The Witcher to Assassin’s Creed and Hogwarts Legacy, I love single player open-world RPGs. I am particularly passionate about how researchers, writers, directors, and developers collaborate to create profound and resonant narrative experiences for players.
Narrative Analysis & Commentary - My interest in narratology and storytelling leads me to explore how game narratives develop and operate, identify some of the core narrative mechanism of the games I play, and better understand how these tools and blue-prints can be used in other contexts.
Authenticity and spontaneity - these are long-form videos with little to no editing; an honest depiction of a private game session filled with wins, fails, laughter, unexpected chaos, and the occasional Maisie interruption when she barks at the window.
